 Shane Rimmer
 Biography

Shane Rimmer was born in Toronto, Canada. After a successful career in Canadian Radio & T.V. he was brought to England in the late 50’s by Director Richard Lester to appear in an ITV Network Special. He stayed on to appear in 50 films in the U.K. & Europe.

His first film appearance was in Stanley Kubrick’s "Dr Strangelove" as Co-Pilot Ace. From there he went on to roles in "Star Wars" & three James Bond Productions – "Diamonds Are Forever", "You Only Live Twice" and "The Spy Who Loved Me". There followed appearances in "Superman 2" & "Superman 3", "Rollerball", "Out Of Africa", "Gandhi", "The Bourne Identity", "Reds", "Dogs Of War", "Reunion At Fairborough", "White Knights", "Space Truckers", "Whoops Apocalypse", "Batman Returns" and many more.

His T.V. roles are numerous and include Dennis Potter’s "Lipstick On Your Collar", "A Very British Coup", "The Nightmare Years" & "Coronation Street".

He is well known as the voice of Scott Tracy in the original T.V. series "Thunderbirds".

National Theatre productions include "Guys & Dolls", "True West", & "Death Of A Salesman".
